The Tucson Gem and Mineral shows are known throughout the world, and they are in our own backyard!

Lisa McGraw is long-time rockhound who has visited gem and mineral shows around the country including those here in Tucson. She is also a published author and illustrator who writes about rocks and minerals and uses them in the creation of her children’s book illustrations.

Join her as she “shows and tells” about a few of her favorite rock show finds and shares some tips and tricks for navigating the more than forty gem shows occurring in and around our city from January to February.
